JENNY LIND, Church Street

JENNY LIND   #
69 Church Street
*

Whilst I have always thought that this named was derived
from the infamous Swedish 'nightingale' of that name, I have
recently discovered that there was some mill equipment that
was called the "Jenny Lind" warping mill.

*
I have wondered whether this and the "BLACK TIGER"
are synonymous.
