BREWERS' ARMS AND HARRINGTON HOTEL
Mr. Parker appeared for the tenant, and called upon Mr. T. H. Myres, who prepared the plans.
He said the proposed alteration was to take down two walls, one that divided a sort of store place and the bar parlour; and the other was a wall between the kitchen and bar parlour, and make that one room. Also to break out a door from a small scullery into the parlour, and to change the parlour into a scullery. By the alteration they would get a smoke room 29 ft by 6ft.
They should do away with a door in the front and put in a window.
Questioned by the Magistrates Clerk, Warrant Inspector Clayton stated that the proper name of the house was "The Brewers' Arms and Harrington Hotel."
