The original Greyhound Inn, before the fire, and below, the one that replaced it.
The Greyhound stands at the corner of Salmon Street, off London Road.
If you look at the building on the left in Salmon Street, that's the "JERRY LOBBY INN"
Now, not a lot of (Preston) people know that! Have a look at the page for that Inn, and
see how obvious it really is.

IN A CASE AGAINST WILLIAM SERGEANT FOR SELLING BEER IN 
PROHIBITED HOURS, THE HOUSE WAS GIVEN AS THE 
"GREY HORSE," FISHWICK, BUT I THINK THAT IT SHOULD
HAVE BEEN THE "GREY HOUND."

SUBMISSION
WHEREAS I, WILLIAM SERGEANT, of Preston, 
INNKEEPER, having indecently assaulted ALICE
HIBBERT, of Preston, Innkeeper, and thereby 
occasioned sundry false and scandalous reports
to the great injury of the character of the said Alice 
Hibbert; and the said Thomas Hibbert, and Alice,
his wife, having commenced an action at law against 
me, they have consented to forego further proceedings,
on condition of my making a public Submission and
begging pardon of the said Mrs. Hibbert, and I do
hereby declare that all such reports injurious to the
character of the said Alice Hibbert are perfectly false.
