SITTING GOOSE, North Road

SITTING GOOSE   #
265  (later 132)  North Road
*
A description given from memory by a relative of one of the 'Mine Hosts' said -
"It wasn't very big; it was of Accrington brick construction with a rather attractive
terracotta window surround, and the words "Sitting Goose" also moulded in
terracotta. In this photograph, the terracotta tiles appear to have been

painted over, doing them a total injustice!"
