COTTON TREE, Lancaster Road

COTTON TREE
Lancaster Road  /  Appleby Street

Preston Pilot – 27th January 1849

Preston Chronicle  4th July 1857
*
Preston Herald - 16th March 1867

NB.  The March 1867 article suggests that the beerhouse was in High Street, BUT in the 4th July 1857 piece it mentions the corner of Appleby Street, which suggests that it's synonymous with THE SPINNERS ARMS - note the link between the Cotton Tree and the (Cotton) Spinners.
