On Wednesday 24th September, Ralph Worthington,
landlord of the Turk's Head beerhouse, applied for
the renewal of his licence, which was suspended at
the annual licensing session last month - the objection
had been that there was a dancing room in connection
with it. If, however, the Police Authorities desired it,
Mr. Worthington would close the room.
On the understanding that the room remained closed,
and that Worthington would conduct his house better in
the future, the Magistrates renewed the licence.
