I have in front of me a menu dated 29/12/28 for the Victoria & Station Hotel and the signatures of the eight who enjoyed it - all "Old Heversham Boys Meeting at Preston". Obviously a reunion of Old Boys of Heversham School. It belonged to my late father-in-law who was at the school 14 years earlier (and then survived the Great War - obviously all the others did too). If anyone would like a scan, please let me know.
