SUDDEN DEATH IN PRESTON
On Friday, an inquest was opened at the Police
Station, Preston, on the body of a labouring man
named Aldridge, who was found dead in bed on the
previous day at the STATION INN beerhouse,
Butler Street, where he was lodging. The inquest
was adjourned to Monday, when the jury returned
a verdict that the deceased was found dead in bed,
and that death was caused by the rupture of a
blood vessel.
