HOLY LAMB, Fishergate

HOLY LAMB
Fishergate
*
It is believed that in 1684, an inn known as the Holy Lamb was on the site of the Borough Tavern, and that presumably it had a sign illustrative of its name. The "Borough" had a sign illustrating a lamb also.
*
Later became the "Borough Tavern"
