JOINERS' ARMS, Moor Lane

JOINERS' ARMS
Moor Lane
*
MINE HOST:
1839     James Whalley
*
A Preston Chronicle of 20.7.1839 showed a Thomas Moss
applying for a spirit licence for a house at the corner of
St. Peter Street and Moor Lane. The house was shown as
being owned by John Whalley.
*
The Travellers' Inn was at that junction:
a.        Could they be synonymous with one another?
b. Could John or James Whalley have been joiners?
