FINES:  Yesterday, the following retail brewers were severally fined 40 shillings plus costs, for suffering beer to be drunk on their premises at unlawful hours on Sunday morning.
Philip Banks, Crown Street, and John Catterall, Crown Street.

Whether either of these men were at the Jolly Miller isn't known, but the Crown and Shuttle, as far as I am aware, only appeared at a later date.
