At a meeting of the Town Council, in connection

with the Town Improvement Committee's 

Proceedings, Councillor Ormrod suggested that

the licence of the "ROSE, SHAMROCK AND

THISTLE," in Bridge Street, should be allowed 

to lapse. The house belonged to the Corporation.
