PRESENTATION TO AN OVERLOOKER
On Saturday evening, between 40 and 50 persons, chiefly operatives employed at the Royal Sovereign Mill, sat down to a sumptuous repast at the house of Mr. Graham, the Cross Axes Inn, St. John Street. During the after proceedings a presentation was made to Mr. James Newsham, overlooker, by the weavers formerly under his charge, on the occasion of his leaving the Royal Sovereign Mill.
