WHITE HORSE INN, PRESTON
H. DERBY begs leave to inform the public, that he has just now entered into the possession of the above INN, hitherto well-known and frequented, which is fitted up in a most commodious manner, for the reception of GENTLEMEN, TRAVELLERS, &c.
He and Mrs Derby flatter themselves, that, by their assiduity and attention to please and accommodate, as is their duty, as well as inclination to do, they will merit a share of the generous public favour, which they humbly solicit.

TO BE SOLD BY AUCTION
At the house of Mr. John Scott, known by the sign of the White-Horse, in Friargate, Preston, on TUESDAY the 7th day of November next, at the hour of seven o'clock in the evening (if not previously disposed of by private contract, of which due notice will be given)and subject to such conditions as will then be produced;
ALL that large, commodious, and well-built FAMILY DWELLING-HOUSE, with the Coach House, Stable, Brew-house, Laundry, and other offices, and the Yard and Garden thereto belonging, situate in Friargate aforesaid, and now in the possession of Mr. T. S. Shuttleworth.
The dining-room and drawing room are each 21 feet by 14; the breakfast room 16 feet 3 inches by 13 feet 10 inches, and there are ten good bedrooms. Several fixtures may also be had at a fair valuation.
The above premises are in a complete state of repair, and would suit either the private gentleman or the manufacturer; they are also well-calculated for an Inn.
They contain in front to the street, 40 feet 7 inches, and in depth backwards, 200 feet, or thereabouts, and in width backwards, 39 feet 6 inches.
The body of the house in cellared under.
Possession may be had on the 12th day of May next.
No ground rent whatever is payable in respect of these premises. They may be viewed, and any further particulars had, by application at the office of ASPDEN and SHUTTLEWORTH, in Preston.
