The following two adverts show Marsh Lane and then Bridge Lane. The former is
the current name, and I could have understood it if the new name had been used in
the more recent advert. Perhaps it was a careless error.

NON-PAYMENT OF WATER RATES.
At the Police Court, on Tuesday, John Eccles, beerhouse keeper, Bridge Street, was summoned by the Local Board of Health, for non-payment of water rates amounting to £1. 18s. 7d. He was ordered to be distressed for the amount, plus costs.
