ANGLERS' ARMS / ANGLERS' HOME

ANGLERS' ARMS / ANGLERS' HOME
6 Avenham Lane

Formerly known as the "Fat Scott"
[A Fat Scott was the name of a breed of sheep.
There was a sheep market / slaughterhouse across the road from it]
*
The drawing is slightly mis-leading. Oxford Street is almost opposite
to the Syke Street opening, but it's position between the two streets
shown, on the south side of Avenham Lane, is certain.
