It isn't known for sure that this is the 'Guild Inn' referred
to, or when it dates from.  However, the one in Park Road
at the corner of Carlisle Street was known as the "Guild Tavern"
This item was brought to my attention by R.P. (Seattle)
and L.H. (Preston).   Thanks to both.
It was for sale on eBay.
